Arsenal football club have revealed manager Mikel Arteta has tested positive for coronavirus.

The Gunners' Premier League match against Brighton at Amex Stadium on Saturday has been postponed, and the north London side confirmed that they have have closed their training ground and staff who had come in contact with the Spaniard recently will be self-isolated.

"This is really disappointing," said Spaniard Arteta as BBC Sport quoted.

"I took the test after feeling poorly. I will be at work as soon as I'm allowed."

Arsenal say a "significant number of people" will self-isolate, including the "full first-team squad".
