Luton 0-3 Man Utd.
Goalkeeper Dean Henderson said he dreamed his whole life about making his Manchester United debut, adding that it was "unbelievable".
The 23-year-old returned from his two-year loan spell with Sheffield United this summer as he looks to battle with David de Gea for the no. 1 spot.
The Englishman made some vital saves for United on Tuesday night as they beat Luton Town 3-0 to reach the Carabao Cup fourth round.
Henderson, who came through United's youth system, tweeted: "I dreamt about this my whole life.
"Unbelievable feeling to make my debut for the club I love. Clean sheet and a win to top it off."
Speaking about Henderson's performance, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "You have to make saves when needed.
"David [de Gea] has done that for years and Dean did that today."
Midfielder Juan Mata added: "He did a great save" today.
