Jimenez has been prolific since he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from Portuguese side Benfica for a reported fee of £30m last year.
Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has heaped praise on Wolves star Raul Jimenez, labelling him a "world-class" striker.
Jimenez initially joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan from Benfica in the summer of 2018, but later signed a permanent deal last April.
The Mexican has been very impressive for the Midlands side since moving from the Portuguese league, scoring a total of 39 goals in 88 Wolves appearances.
However, City midfield ace Gundogan believes the 28-year-old has the attributes to play for the Citizens.
Speaking to ESPN, the former Dortmund star said: "I think he has everything a world-class striker needs.

"For a striker he is so mobile, but also physically so good and talented technically on the ball. I can imagine him playing with us."
Gundogan also said Jimenez reminds him of Bayern Munich striker - and former team-mate - Robert Lewandowski.
"Maybe [he's] not on that level yet, but he reminds me a little bit of [Robert] Lewandowski because I've played with him. In terms of style I think there is still a lot of potential.
"It's so difficult to predict but I think [Jimenez] would get a chance in every single top-six team and there's a good possibility he could do well."
