Man Utd ace Luke Shaw says playing behind closed doors does not feel right.

United full-back Shaw says playing without spectators at the stadium is not an outcome he wants to see.

Manchester United star Luke Shaw wants the 2019/20 season to be declared as null and void if there's no possible chance of resuming shortly.

The 24-year-old says "it's got to be, you know. If we can't carry it on, it's got to be void".

The Premier League was brought to a halt due to the COVID-19 chaos and football authorities in England confirmed last week that the current campaign is suspended indefinitely and will not return until it the environment is safe to play football.
 
 "Scrap it and start again. Start it again, yeah," Shaw said during the Combat Corona fundraiser for UNICEF, a FIFA 20 competition that was streamed on Twitch.
 
 "It's got to be, you know. If we can't carry it on, it's got to be void."
 
 Regarding playing games behind closed doors, England defender Shaw said: "Fans are so important. You realise it even more (now).

"I think the sport is for fans really... I think if you don't have fans, and you don't play in front of fans, it just doesn't feel right.
 
 "Especially on matchday, the fans are always amazing and always help the team. Whether it's home or even away, our fans are always brilliant and I feel like they're always there with us."
