Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Marcus Rashford is "getting better and better" following his brilliant performance in their 3-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Red Devils beat the Seagulls 3-2 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday but were lackluster in their all-round display, with the homeside hitting the post five times on the day.
The England forward scored a brilliant goal against Brighton, making it his second in all competitions of the new season after hitting the target in United's 3-0 Carabao Cup third-round win over Luton Town last week.
“He was getting better and better, I had a little bit of a go at him halfway through the first half for a tackle that he evaded, but I think his reaction, I think his sharpness is getting better," Solskjaer said when asked during his post-match press conference about the 22-year-old's display against Graham Potter's team as Manutd.com quoted.
“He’s more direct, you can see his confidence is getting there. A great goal, an absolute great run and great finish for the one that was disallowed as well and I think Marcus will really kick on this season."
