Few could have imagined that the boy growing up around cows, horses and vegetables would eventually become one of Brazil's most exciting young wingers, shine in La Liga with Girona, play for Manchester City and earn a major move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Sávio's journey has already taken him through Brazilian football, La Liga and the Premier League, with his latest chapter beginning in north London.

1. He was born in São Mateus, Espírito Santo
Sávio was born on April 10, 2004, in São Mateus in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo.
His childhood was spent in a much quieter environment than the football stadiums he would eventually become accustomed to.
His family lived on a cow farm, where football was part of his life alongside the everyday routines of rural life. That upbringing remained an important part of Sávio's identity even after his career took him overseas.
2. He Learned to Ride Horses and Milk Cows as a Child
Sávio's childhood was unusual for a future Premier League footballer. Growing up on his grandparents' farm, he learned how to ride horses, milk cows and plant vegetables.
The farm also remained a favourite destination for him during holidays as his football career developed. Those experiences gave him a childhood that was very different from the academy environment he would later enter. His football talent, however, was already becoming obvious.

Sávio's move into European football eventually led him to Girona, where his development accelerated dramatically. After spending time with Troyes and PSV Eindhoven, he joined Girona on loan and produced the most productive season of his young career.

10. He Became Atlético Mineiro's Youngest Copa Libertadores Scorer
Sávio made history with Atlético Mineiro by becoming the club's youngest player to score in the Copa Libertadores.
He scored his first professional goal on May 19, 2022, when he was 18 years and one month old, contributing to a 3–1 home victory against Independiente del Valle. The milestone added another significant achievement to his rapid development at the Brazilian club.
11. He Scored on His Tottenham Debut
Sávio did not have to wait long to make an impression in a Tottenham shirt. Just one day after completing his move, he came off the bench in Spurs' Carabao Cup second-round match against Charlton Athletic at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He was introduced in the 71st minute and scored just 11 minutes later. Picking up the ball on the right side of the penalty area, Sávio worked his way past defenders before sending a low shot into the bottom corner.
Three minutes later, he created another goal when his effort struck Ben Davies and ended up in the net. The goal was officially credited to Davies, with Sávio receiving the assist.
Tottenham won 5–1, giving their new winger a goal and an assist during a memorable 20-minute debut cameo.
