Ake happy with goal against Liverpool.

Watford defender Nathan Ake has expressed his joy after scoring his first professional goal as his side defeated Liverpool by three goals to nothing.

Nathan scored the first goal of the game for the Hornets in the third minute before Odion Ighalo scored a brace to compound Liverpool’s woes on the day.

"I've been dreaming about this, and also to score against Liverpool it's really nice for me personally," said Ake, Watford's official website reports.

"I didn't know how to celebrate, if you saw my celebration it was really bad, but I was really happy.

"It feels really good and of course everyone is happy. I think we deserved it as well, we created chances, we defended well, especially in the first-half, so I'm really happy.

"It was really important to get an early lead, it gives you a boost and confidence. After that we kept pushing on and after the second goal we kept the pressure up and I think that helped.

"It was important to keep them off the ball and we did that. The second-half was a bit more difficult, the last 20 minutes or so, but after the third goal it was finished."
