Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says France international Alexandre Lacazette’s future will be addressed in the summer.

The ex-Lyon striker has been attracting interest from several sides including Serie A club Roma and La Liga sides Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.

However, the Gunners manager insists that the Frenchman, whose current deal expires in 2022, should be left to focus on his craft.

“I’m always happy when people talk about our players and speculate – that means they are doing well and getting attention from other clubs,” said Arteta.

“The situation with Laca we will address in the summer, speak to him and just propose the future we want and that’s it.

“Now I just want players focused and only focused on performing and getting the best out of them for the team.”
