Allegri: Everyone has a price.

Pogba has the qualities to do much better than he is now says Juve boss.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted that “everyone has a price” after Paul Pogba further enhanced his reputation today with a splendid performance against Chievo.

The French midfielder scored a superb 25 yard effort and had a hand in the second goal as his shot was saved by the goalkeeper, allowing Stephan Lichtsteiner to convert the rebound.

Rumours of a move away from the Italian club have intensified in recent weeks and Allegri refused to provide any assurances over whether Pogba would stay at the club for the foreseeable future.

He told Sky Italia: “I think Pogba scored an extraordinary goal and the second goal was an equally extraordinary assist.

“Everything in life has a price, unfortunately. I don’t think it is a problem we need to consider right now. It is difficult to replace world class players, but it can be done, as football goes on.

“Having said that, Pogba is only 21 years old, has a good 10-15 years ahead of him and more importantly has the qualities to do much better than he is now.

“To win games you need great players, otherwise there wouldn’t be players that clubs pay €100m for. As with every profession, there are levels.”
