Allofs: Draxler could leave Wolfsburg

Arsenal Target Draxler was signed from Schalke 04 for a whopping €35m, but has failed to live up to that price tag.

Wolfsburg's director of sport Klaus Allofs confirmed Julian Draxler could be sold. The Bundesliga side rejected reported interest from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League side Arsenal to hold onto their 23-year-old midfield maestro during the last transfer window. "We'll evaluate the situation differently, and we may do things differently next time," Allofs told German TV channel Sport1. "Does this mean letting him [Draxler] leave? Potentially." Draxler - who scored five goals in 21 league games last season - accused the German club of denying him a chance to leave. Allofs added: "This story doesn't help him, or Wolfsburg. He wants to get back to his level, he wants to help." Read More:
