Anthony Martial pleased to have a "great connection" with England forward Rashford.

Martial, who finished the season as United's top scorer with 23 goals has no rivalry with Rashford.

Both Martial and Rashford scored more than 20 goals for Solskjaer's United this season.

Anthony Martial has quashed rumours suggesting there is a rivalry between himself and Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford.

The Frenchman insists that he is delighted to have a "great connection" with England forward Rashford and believes it's an advantage for United.

Martial finished last term as the Red Devils' top goalscorer with 23 goals - one more than Rashford as both players found the net more than 20 times for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's United this season.

When quizzed whether there is a rivalry between himself and Rashford, Martial told Inside United magazine: "Not especially. We just try to help each other out.

"With Marcus, I think that we've been playing together for five seasons now and so, yes, we have that good understanding. It's a real positive for us that we have this great connection."
