Arenal boss Arteta plans to “help” Lacazette and Willian but might consider making changes.

Despite Arteta saying he is keen to help Lacazette and Willian, he also admitted that he will consider making changes to his team.

Alexandre Lacazette and Willian have found it hard to make a major impact on the Arsenal side in recent games.



Manager Mikel Arteta took the blame for Arsenal's 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday evening, but he issued a warning to Alexandre Lacazette and Willian.


The Gunners pair have struggled to hit the ground running in recent weeks, however, Arteta admitted he will try his utmost best to help them improve their all-round display 'by putting 'them in the best scenario''.


The Spaniard also said he might have to make changes to his side when players return from the international break.


When quizzed about the French striker and the Brazil winger, Arteta said as the Mirror quoted: “My job is to get the best out of the players and put them in the best possible scenario.


“If they’re not performing it’s because we have to help them more.”


Quizzed about changing Arsenal's front-three, Arteta replied: "We will consider those things when we look back at all the games we played since the last international break.


“It depends on whose in good form, good spirits and we will try to make the right adjustments.”
