Arsène Wenger: We have a good opportunity to change history at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger says his side can "make history" on Sunday by beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners head to west London looking to turn around the 6-0 embarrassing defeat which took place last season at Stamford Bridge.

Both clubs are currently the only unbeaten teams in the Premier League and, the Gunners beating Chelsea will close down the gap to just three points.

The Arsenal boss said: “They have started very well but we have a big opportunity.”

“We’re the two unbeaten teams in the Premier League. They have been more efficient in finish their games off than we have been.

“I think we have maybe had a little bit more of a difficult run until now than they have, because we’ve played Everton, Manchester City and Tottenham in our games.”

Wenger added: “It is a vital game for us to stay in the race, of course.

“In the last six or seven years they have fantastic teams always and that is of course very important.

“On the other hand I believe that it is not a game between two managers – it’s a game between two teams and two clubs.

“The recent history has been negative for us but I believe we have a good opportunity to change history.”
