Arsenal are waiting to know the extent of Mathieu Debuchy’s injury ahead of their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund tonight.
The France international right-back was carried off on a stretcher with an ankle injury in the 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Saturday.
Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger confirmed yesterday that Debuchy was set to undergo a scan on to determine how serious the issue might be.
Also, Arsene wenger will be without Nacho Monreal and Yaya Sanogo for tonight`s European clash, while Calum Chambers has a “50-50″ chance.
Wenger said yesterday “In defence we of course have the Mathieu Debuchy injury, and that puts us in a position where we do not want more [injuries],”
“Hopefully there is good news after his scan today and he is back soon.
“We have Calum Chambers who can play in different positions, Nacho Monreal can play at centre-back and as well Hector Bellerin who I think now is ready to play.”
