Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta - Chelsea game is must-win.

Gunners boss explains how important it'll be to secure a victory over Frank Lampard’s Blues tomorrow.

Arsenal need to beat Chelsea on Tuesday night if they are to keep their hopes of finishing in the top-four finish alive, according to Mikel Arteta.

If the Gunners concede defeat at Stamford Bridge they will be 13 points behind the west London side - who sit in fourth spot in the Premier League table.

“Tomorrow we need to win,” Arteta said at a press conference at the London Colney when quizzed on the importance of the London derby, the Telegraph reported.

“It’s really important. It’s very, very important for us to win this game – to fight for that.

“Also, the game we played at home, it could have made a big difference and we were very close to it.

“Everyone is having a lot of problems to put together back-to-back wins, the league has been very competitive this season and that is why the gaps aren’t that big.

“There are still four months to play and a lot of things can happen, a lot of games between the top teams as well so I think that will change.”
