Arsenal target Sami Khedira has hinted that his future could lie away from Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has been on Arsene Wenger's wish-list for some time.
Khedira has become a bit-part player at Real Madrid and has started just three La Liga games all season.
But, despite his lack of game time, some reports have suggested that he could yet pen a new deal at the Bernabeu.
However, after Real's dramatic 4-3 defeat to Schalke on Tuesday night, Khedira gave the chasing pack a boost by suggesting he is set to leave.
Schalke, who went out because of a 5-4 aggregate defeat, are said to be one of Arsenal's main rivals in the race for Khedira.
But when asked about the interest from the Bundesliga club, the 2014 World Cup winner said: "Am I Open to Schalke? I am open to many teams."
