Fernando Torres has agreed to return to Atletico Madrid on loan from AC Milan until the end of the 2015-16 season.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea striker is heading back to his boyhood club which he left in 2007 for Anfield when Rafa Benitez was Liverpool manager.
He took to twitter to express his delight at the move back to Atletico Madrid,
"At last back home. Thanks to all that have made this dream come true. Forza @Atleti," he said on Twitter.
Serie A side AC Milan made his loan move from Chelsea permanent for Torres on Saturday, after Alessio Cerci arrived from Atletico Madrid.
Torres won the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup while at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea have thanked the Spanish striker "his service during the last four seasons" and wished him "the very best for the future".
