It seems Arsenal are in crisis following their disappointing display in the 2-1 defeat to Wolves on Sunday.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that he is worried about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s lack of goals.

The Gabon international has been unable to find the target in open play since the Gunners' first game of the 2020-21 campaign.

He also couldn't score in Arsenal's recent 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday night.

After the Premier League clash at the Emirates, Arteta was asked if he was worried that the Arsenal hitman hasn't been scoring recently, and the Spaniard said as Arsenal.com quoted: "I think we all are because the main goalscorer of the club at the moment isn't scoring goals, so my biggest concern is how to help him more to score goals because we need his goals.

"How important Auba has been for this club in the last two years and how the goal sheet has been shared among the squad tells you his importance.

"He needs to be scoring goals if we want to be successful.”

Arsenal academy graduate Joe Willock, who made his first start last night, also gave his view on the loss, saying: “We’re not playing well enough as a team at the moment.

“It was very disappointing. You never want to lose at the Emirates or in any game but I feel like in the first half it wasn't good enough.

“We're not playing well enough as a team at the moment and we need to stick together and bounce back from this very quickly.

“I don't think it's clicking enough and there's not enough fluidity in the team.

“We need to sort this out as quickly as possible to fight for the position we want to fight for.”
