Xavi has supported his former club's desire to sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and has also believes Neymar will return to Barca.
Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez believes Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has the attributes to succeed at the Nou Camp.
The Inter star has scored 16 goals and registered four assists in 31 games across all competitions this season, and has previously said he would like to play alongside Lionel Messi.
The former Spain midfielder, who has revealed his desire to become Barca boss, also reckons Neymar could make a sensational return to the Blaugrana.
Speaking about Martinez, the Al Sadd manager told Spanish YouTube channel Post United: "I like him. He gets away from defenders well, provides passing options, can play well in open or tight spaces. Barcelona are right to be interested in signing him."
When quizzed about a possible return to Barcelona for Neymar, who left the LaLiga giants in 2017 for a world record fee, the 40-year-old added: "Why not? I shared a locker room with him and he seems a good person. He was professional and made the difference for the team at that time.
"I don’t want to get into club issues, but on the field he is one of the top five in the world."
