Barcelona head coach wants his side to be ruthless in front of goal.

New head coach Setien says Barca will have to improve in the final third.

Quique Setien expressed his delight at Barcelona's 1-0 win over Granada in his first game in charge as boss.

The new Barca head coach, who replaced Ernesto Valverde last Monday, is keen for the Blaugrana to be more ruthless in front of goal after they ended up with a narrow win last night.

Lionel Messi broke the deadlock in 76th minute as they secured three points at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

"I think it was a 'good' [performance]," Setien said as Marca quoted. "Maybe we lacked a bit of conviction in the first half. Granada defended very well, and it wasn't easy.

"Furthermore, it was an unpleasant day, with wind, a dry pitch, and this stopped the circulation [of the ball].

"I'm happy because we only conceded one shot in the first half and the shot that hit the post in the second half came from our loss [of possession].

"I think we did a lot of things well and I hope that little by little we pick up fluency and improve in front of goal."
