Barcelona's Champions League win is a dream come true, admits Luis Suarez.

Luis Suarez could barely contain his joy after he scored the second goal for the Spanish Champions Barcelona and also when the final whistle was heard, as they beat Juventus 3-1 to seal the Champions League final in Berlin.

The Catalans broke the deadlock within five minutes as Ivan Rakitić finished off a cool pass from midfield wizard Andrés Iniesta.

Luis Enrique's side seemed to be cruising in the game but Massimiliano Allegri’s men responded early in the second half through Alvaro Morata – who levelled for the Old Lady.

However, Barça fought hard and in the closing stages, Suarez made it 2-1 before Brazilian star Neymar confirmed the treble as he made it 3-1 during added time.

And, the Uruguay striker Suarez who has had a successful debut season at the camp Nou said becoming champions of Europe is a dream come true.

"It's incredible... unique," said Suarez. "It's a dream.

‎"To win the Champions League and competitions like this you have to suffer. It's not the same if you do not. We suffered and today we won."

"After they scored they pushed forward and put pressure on us. They had chances.

"But we have but difference makers in our team and we came out on top."

Luis Enrique, who will be remembered for guiding the side to clinch their second historic treble in his first season as Barcelona boss, was very happy with their success, as he praised his team after the glorious win.

"I've got a unique group of players. They're winners, soldiers and they enjoy what they do and they make us all enjoy it.

"This is match number 60 of the season, with 50 wins. It has been a difficult year and I'm very thankful to the people who believed in me.

"I never thought we would win the treble, but one always tries to do their job the best that they can. These players have shown that they do not get tired of winning."
