Benzema scores 50th career Champions League goal.



Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema scored his 50th Champions League goal in their 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening. The France international scored a brace (a goal in the 28th and 53rd minute) for Zinedine Zidane's side to reach 50 goal landmark in Europe's elite competition. Benzema has scored the same amount of goals (50) former Arsenal and Barcelona forward Thierry Henry scored in the Champions League, putting him joint-fifth in the overall list. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Raul and Ruud van Nistelrooy are the only footballers who have scored more goals in the competition. Read More:
