Dutch international Daley Blind says he is enjoying playing alongside Angel di Maria at Manchester United.

The Argentine has had a good impact since joining the Red Devils following his summer move from Real Madrid.

And his team-mate Blind says he is learning more from Di Maria who has scored three goals and made seven assists in 17 Premier League games for Louis van Gaal's team.

“I remember playing against him in the Champions League,” Blind told Man United’s website.

“I recall the games against Real Madrid, as they were hard games for Ajax. Everybody at Real Madrid is a great player but I especially know Angel now, and I know how good he can be.

“I really enjoy playing with him and I am learning from him. It’s nice to work with him and see it from close quarters.

“He is always smiling! He’s getting English lessons now so it’s nice to get a word sometimes to laugh about. It’s nice to have him in the team.”
