BLIND: REDS MUST KEEP UP POSITIVE APPROACH

Daley Blind has issued a rallying cry ahead of their clash against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The Dutchman who joined United two seasons ago wants his side to continue their fine form as their win over Sunderland on Boxing Day made it five wins on the bounce for the Red Devils.

"We’re in great form but it’s up to us to keep it that way," said the Dutchman, whose goal broke the deadlock against the Black Cats on Monday.

"We have to look at ourselves and if we bring what we have brought in the last games, we can beat any team. We have to keep working hard in training and keep the same spirit in the games.

"When you’re winning, the positive feeling gets better and better, and now we’re in a phase of winning games, so it’s important to keep improving – that has to be our level.

"We want to win matches like this, so we have to stick together and be positive – that’s the only way we can get the results."
