Carlo Ancelotti: "I'd like to win the league next season".

The Real Madrid manager is confident of his continuity at the club despite various rumours that his days are numbered at 'La Casa Blanca'.

"Firstly, I would like to congratulate Barcelona and my colleague Luis Enrique, for having won the title. It's not been good for Real.

Real Madrid always play to win and we haven't managed it. We did a good first half of the season, but the second half was more complicated", lamented the Italian.

"The team rallied well. They had the right attitude, but it wasn't easy and I thank them for that. They behaved most professionally and always with their heads held high", he said.

Cristiano Ronaldo: "He has enjoyed the team's great attitude, but it isn't just him that has done well. He has benefited from the team and the work of his teammates."

Injuries: "Having players out injured has worked against us, especially Modric, but Isco, James and Kroos played very well with this system. However, having a player out for so long didn't help us."

No league title in two years: "As always, I would like to win the most important competition, which is the Champions League, but also la Liga. This year we came close and we'll try again in the next one."
