Hazard has been hampered by injuries and poor form in Madrid.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti insists that forward Eden Hazard needs to have faith if he is keen on securing a regular spot in the starting XI.
The Belgium international, who signed from Premier League club Chelsea in June 2019 for 120 million euros, has failed to seal a spot in Los Blancos' starting eleven due to injuries and lack of form.
He was only able to score four goals in 21 appearances in all competitions in the 2020-21 campaign and has fallen down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Brazilian youngsters Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo selected ahead of the ex-Lille star.
However, speaking ahead of Madrid's Champions League Group D match against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday evening, the Italian said told a news conference on Tuesday: "Those who don't play need to have faith. Look at Mariano, how he finally got his chance and is enjoying himself, playing well.
"That's what Hazard needs to do.
