Carlos Tevez has Manchester United blood, his time spent at Old Trafford helped him become a champio
Patrice Evra believes Carlos Tevez's time at Manchester United helped him fire the Old Lady to Champions League victory against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
The Argentine striker won and converted a second-half penalty to seal a 2-1 victory for the Italian giants at the Juventus Stadium.
Evra, who played alongside the striker during his time at Old Trafford, believes playing for United has helped the 31-year-old progress as a player.
The Frenchman said: 'Carlos Tevez is like myself, he has United blood. He's a champion and he's working hard, he's a very good professional.
'I was very pleased to see him again and of course he's had a fantastic year, but like you say we want to win this Champions League.
'We have done good stuff, in the first leg of the semi-final, and we need to make sure we get ready for the second leg.
'It's going to be difficult but of course I'm really pleased for Carlito because he's a massive professional.'
