Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has described the Gunners' victory against Everton over the weekend as brilliant.
Arsenal continued their brilliant form against Everton with a 2-1 victory with goals from Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny.
“It’s a brilliant victory,” the goalkeeper told Arsenal Player, reports arsenal.com. “When you have a week of important games, you come back after internationals and the away game is always tricky.
“We managed to do really well and got a great result at Watford. Then you have a must-win game in midweek and you manage to do that in some style, and I think the hardest part is always to refocus and return to the Premier League.
“You have to deliver again and sometimes that's very hard to do, and we did a remarkably good job.
“We’re proud of the three points we got and the way we played against a very good Everton side.”
Cech also expressed his joy with the way he has contributed to the Arsenal team.
“I’m pleased with the way I’m contributing to the team and I made another important save against Everton,” he added. “Everybody has been playing really well so they deserved a little bit of help from me as well.
“We are pleased with the start to the season. So far, so good. You want to be there in the mix from the start to the end.
“Since the season started we’ve been there so we’ll try to stay there as long as possible.”
