Gunners midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain praised his team-mate Alexis Sanchez after the Chilean's all-round display helped Arsenal secure a 3-0 win over Stoke City on Sunday.
The former Barcelona man found the net twice after setting up Koscielny's opener in the 6th minute and the North London side moved up the Premier League table to 5th place after seeing off Mark Hughes' side.
Alexis Sanchez has scored 17 goals in all competitions for Wenger's side and Chamberlain had nothing but praise for the 26-year-old Chilean attacker.
“He’s amazing,” The Sport Review quotes Oxlade-Chamberlain. “He shows it week-in, week-out and I think that’s the most important thing for top players to do.
“It’s about consistency and it’s not good enough to just be good one week. Everybody wants to see you great every week and I think Alexis has done that all the way through this season.
“He was brilliant again, scoring two good goals and setting Laurent’s goal up as well.
“Hopefully it continues for him because he’s having a great season, he’s brimming with confidence and obviously it helps the team as well so it was another great performance from him.
“There were a lot of good performances out there but obviously with the two goals and the assist, he’s the star of the show.”
