Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed his thoughts of Liverpool ahead of their encounter this weekend.
The Chelsea boss praised Liverpool, saying that they were, and still a good side.
‘They were a good team, they are a good team. They had good players, they have good players. They had a very good manager, they have a new very good manager," Mourinho said, reports Chelseafc.com.
‘Everything is the same. They have changed some details obviously in their tactical approach, but this is the nature of the game, especially when you are thinking and speaking about two top managers.
‘When you change a top manager to another top one the level is high. They know what to do, there is just a little bit of difference about the way they think about football.
‘About Jurgen I just say I am not a close friend, because football doesn’t normally allow that, but he is a guy I like a lot. We have a good relationship, and as a manager his work speaks and in spite of the last season to forget, I consider him one of the top managers in Europe.’
