Chelsea Football Club Sign Ben Chilwell From Leicester City.

The Blues new boy says he is pleased to be part of Frank Lampard's side.

West London club Chelsea have secured the services of left-back Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.

It is believed the Blues agreed a fee in the region of £50m for the England full-back.

The 23-year-old put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge and says he is looking forward to winning trophies under Frank Lampard.

He said: "I am delighted to be joining Chelsea at this very exciting time for the club. I’m looking forward to being a part of this young, dynamic squad led by Frank Lampard as we challenge for honours next season.

"I can’t wait to get started and hopefully it won’t be long before we’re playing in front of the Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge."

Chilwell is Chelsea's third signing this summer after the arrivals of winger Hakim Ziyech [27] from Ajax and striker Timo Werner [24] from RB Leipzig.
