DJILOBODJI RARING TO GO

Papy Djilobodji sealed a move from Ligue 1 side Nantes to Chelsea before the transfer window was closed and while the defender was speaking to the Blues' official website he declared his target for big success at Stamford Bridge.

“I have come here to learn and to go to higher places with the club, and to win trophies as well," he said. I’m really happy and I want to show all my qualities and skills not just to the manager and the players, but also to the supporters.

“I am a defender and I want to do my job well, which is to defend well and to not let things get past me. Technically speaking I am making a lot of progress.”

The Senegalese signed a four-year contract with Jose Mourinho's side for a reported fee of around £2.7million and has been included in Chelsea's 2015/16 Champions League squad.
