Cesc Fabregas will have an operation this week to fix the damage caused to his nose in April's 2-1 win over Stoke.
The Spaniard came off worst in a battle with Charlie Adam's arm, causing Jose Mourinho to clash with Potters boss Mark Hughes and leaving him to finish the season wearing a protective carbon-fibre mask.
And Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has revealed that the Chelsea midfielder is to have surgery before joining up with the squad for friendlies against Costa Rica and Belarus.
"We'll see how Sergio Ramos is," he said, "and we also Fabregas to have an operation on his nose.
"But I expect both to be with us on June 1 [when the squad meets]."
Fabregas was mask-less as Chelsea toured west London on an open-top bus for their victory parade on Monday.
