Pulisic scored his first professional hat-trick against Burnley.

Christian Pulisic’s treble helped Chelsea seal a seventh straight win in all competitions.

The USA international scored a hat-trick as the west London side beat Burnley 4-2 on Saturday, and after the victory, Pulisic – a close-season arrival from Borussia Dortmund – said he is keen to play regularly.

The forward had not started a league game for the Blues since August but he repaid Frank Lampard's faith in selecting him with a fantastic performance against Sean Dyche’s side.

Pulisic is now the second American to score a hat-trick in the Premier League after Clint Dempsey and after the game at Turf Moor, he told BBC Match of the Day said: “It’s my first professional hat-trick so I nearly forgot the match ball, luckily my teammates helped me out!

"I just want to be on the field, help the team and make an impact. I didn’t think it would be super easy. But I have come on a few times the past few weeks and was happy to start today, it was a special day."

On playing alongside other young players, he replied“There are young guys in the team but we forget about that when we go out there. It’s a fun team to play with now and we just want to keep this run going.”
