Ben Chilwell has won 11 caps for England.
Blues boss Frank Lampard believes Foxes academy product Chilwell will fit into his side.
West London club Chelsea are close to securing the signature of Leicester and England left-back Ben Chilwell.
The 23-year-old, who has won 11 caps for the Three Lions, has been heavily linked with Blues following brilliant displays for the King Power Stadium club. Though, Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers said in July that Chilwell was not for sale.
Chelsea will be offering Chilwell a chance to play Champions League football after Leicester finished fifth in the Premier League table last term, and the England international's current contract with Leicester expires in 2024.
Chelsea have already signed RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner and Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech, and are looking to secure a deal for Bayer Leverkusen's attacking midfielder Kai Havertz.
It's clear Chelsea are preparing to start the 2020-21 Premier League season - which starts on 12 September - in flying colours.
