Chelsea vs Man City: Match Preview.
The Blues boss thinks the world is against his side. Diego Costa will be missing the clash after he was handed a three match ban by the FA for stamping Emre Can in the Capital One Cup second-leg tie against Liverpool on Tuesday night. However, a win for Chelsea will increase the gap in the EPL table to eight points.
As for Manchester City who are still the defending champions, Pellegrini will be hoping his players can respond after losing two games – against Arsenal and Middlesbrough - on the bounce at the Etihad in all competitions. They will be without Yaya Toure who is with the Ivory Coast squad, participating in the African Cup of Nations.
The City boss knows a defeat with make it a tougher job to retain the title, although they've closed in on an eight point gap this season already.
Predicting a win is a tough one but we are definitely going to watch an interesting battle between the league leaders and the Premier League champions.
