Chelsea winger Willian eager to face Argentina.

Brazil winger Willian won't be shying away from a potential Copa America semi-final meeting against Argentina and Lionel Messi.

When Brazil and Argentina meet in a friendly or in a competition, it's always an exciting encounter for football fans and so it is for Chelsea's Willian.

Brazil play Paraguay in the quarter-final of the Copa America on Saturday and if Dunga's men win on the day, it could set up a semi-final clash with rivals Argentina - who are set to play Colombia on Friday.

However, Willian heaped praised on Barcelona star Messi, while speaking to reporters of a possible semi-final tie against Argentina.

"Messi is an idol for many people," Willian said. "[He is] a player of great quality who has managed to be crowned the best player in the world four times.

"I like to watch him play, of course. He is someone who, when Argentina play, he has many people stop to see him at work.

"Undoubtedly it is always great to play for Brazil against Argentina and if it happens it will be really cool. Everyone dreams of playing against Argentina.

"We are getting ready for the possibility of that happening but we must not get ahead of ourselves."

Regarding Neymar's absence from the Brazil squad, following his four-match suspension, Willian said: "There isn't really any difference in our manner. With or without Neymar, I will try to play my best football.

"Our total focus in on Paraguay. We just have to be focused and attentive in what we do. We will watch videos, get information and hopefully play a great game."
