The Danish midfielder swapped the Premier League for Serie A in the last winter window, but things are not working out for the former Spurs man in Italy.
Christian Eriksen has admitted his career at Serie A club Inter Milan is not going to plan.
The Denmark international Eriksen forced his way out of Premier League club Tottenham after deciding not to sign a new deal with the Lilywhites.
But he has found it tough to make a significant impact on Antonio Conte's Nerazzurri side that currently sit in 7th spot in the Italian top flight.
Speaking to TV2, Eriksen said: "This isn’t what I dreamed of. All players want to play as much as possible, but the coach decides who gets to go on the pitch.
“It is a strange situation, as the fans want to see me playing more and so would I, but the coach has different ideas and as a player, I have to respect that."
The 28-year-old added: "I am concentrating on my football, then when the transfer window opens we will see if something will happen or not."
