Danny Rose shocked a few football fans by admitting he could leave Tottenham this summer.
England left-back Rose fuelled speculation linking him with a move away from Spurs as he said it is “no secret” he could be out of Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
Rose, who turns 29 in July, told Sky Sports after the Three Lions’ win over Switzerland on Sunday in the UEFA Nations League’s third-place play-off: “If I am [at Tottenham next season], great. If not, great.
“It’s no secret I’ve been linked with a move in the media, and it’s the club’s policy to move players on when they reach a certain age.”
Christian Eriksen is another Spurs star, who already revealed he is ready to leave the north London side this summer.
Eriksen, a reported target for Spanish giants Real Madrid, told the media in his homeland (Denmark): "I feel that I am a place in my career where I might want to try something new.
"I have the wildest and deepest respect for everything that has happened in Tottenham, nor will it be negative. But I have also said that I would like to try something new."
