Diego Costa has no intention of leaving Chelsea.

The Chelsea faithful will be happy their star striker Diego Costa has come out to deny rumours linking him with a move back to Atletico Madrid due to him being unsettled in England.

The Brazilian born forward sealed a move to Stamford Bridge last summer from Spanish side Atleti and he scored 20 goals for the Blues as they were crowned champions in his debut season.

However, Costa said reports suggesting he is looking to cut short his stay in London and seek a return to Spain are false.

"[It is] quite a simple answer. It's always a bit more difficult in the first season for adaptation," he told Chelsea's official website.

"But I have no reason to leave this place. I love it, the fans love me and I want to stay."
