Dalot heaps praise on Manchester United's new signing.
Diogo Dalot has lauded his compatriot Bruno Fernandes, saying the midfielder has all the attributes to be successful at Manchester United.
The 25-year-old completed his switch from Sporting Lisbon to United last Thursday and made his debut at Old Trafford on Saturday against Nuno Espirito Santo's high-flying Wolves, who held the hosts to a goalless draw.
“The players knew Bruno was a very good player of course,” the full-back said.
“It’s different seeing him abroad and then seeing him in training every day. He’s going to bring us a lot.
“I knew him and I think he’s going to be a very good player for us and he’s going to help us build this team.”
Asked if Fernandes can handle the pressure in the Premier League, Dalot replied: “Yeah, he’s an experienced player. He played abroad a lot of years and you knew he could come here and do a great job.
“For me, it was not a surprise and I think that he is going to show us a lot more that he did today but it was a fantastic debut for him.”
