Solari unhappy with Madrid display.
The problem that saw Real Madrid sack Julien Lopetegui few weeks ago still exists, says Varane. And rightly so.
Los Blancos have been defensively poor away from the Bernabeu this season in LaLiga and it continued when they went to Eibar on Saturday.
Gonzalo Escalante broke the deadlock in Santiago Solari’s first game as Madrid permanent boss before Sergi Enrich and Kike Garcia found the target as Luis Mendilibar's team stormed to a 3-0 triumph over the European champions.
Madrid had only three shots on target against Eibar, their joint lowest figure in away games across all competitions in 2018.
They are now sixth in the table and have now conceded 16 goals away in the league, Huesca at the bottom of the table are the only side who have conceded more.
Following the match Solari who was unhappy with his team, made his feelings clear.
"We weren't good and we accept that, we have to work to improve and correct the mistakes," Solari admitted to beIN LaLiga. "They were very good, it worked for them and we have to congratulate Eibar.
"Of course it's a hard result, we didn't expect it, and we have to work to improve and adjust certain things that we didn't do well, but they're perfectly remediable."
When quizzed on his team's woeful defensive performances, the Argentine replied: "We will try to reduce it and increase how many we are scoring.
"It's our job, that we concede few and score many."
