Former Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says he signed for Crystal Palace as he loves the football they play and is keen on helping Alan Pardew’s side “achieve what they want to achieve”.
The Togolese signed an 18-month contract with the Eagles.
"I chose Palace because my family are happy in London,” he said as skysports.com reported
“Palace have been playing the football I like and they have a few players who are my friends.
"Hopefully I can bring more experience to Palace and achieve what they want to achieve."
Adebayor also said he doesn’t have to prove himself again in the Premier League.
"I don't have anything personally to achieve - I've got to go for the team and what they want to achieve,” he added.
"As a footballer you always want to leave your name out there. What I've achieved in England and football so far, I am quite happy.”
