Liverpool defender Kolo Toure says his team-mate Emre Can is beginning to show he can play at the top-level.
Emre Can has been used as a defender in a three-man defence in Liverpool's recent games despite being known as a midfielder.
Can's presence in the Reds' defence has helped Brendan Rodgers' side concede less goals and former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Kolo Toure praised the German for his recent display.
Liverpool Echo quotes Toure saying: “Emre needed time to adapt to the way Liverpool play with a lot of intensity and a lot of impact.
“He’s a young player who is learning. He played very well against Leicester and before that he was outstanding against Swansea.
“Emre is a top player with a lot of talent. We’re seeing that now and I’m sure he will keep getting better. All the new players are gelling better now.”
