European exit was a huge blow, says Pique.

Barca defender: We're in a little slump.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says the Catalans are having issues with their form after Champions League exit.

Antoine Griezmann's brace was enough to see off the La Liga champions at the Vicente Calderon, as they sealed a spot in the semi-finals with a 3-2 aggregate win.

However, after the clash Pique admitted Luis Enrique's men aren't in form as they've registered three defeats in their last five games.

"We are in a little slump. You're not always at your best. Things go better or are worse," he said, as AS reported.

"The team was hungry to score but the ball would not go in. This is football. We believe that we are very good, but not always at our best."

"I will not deny that it has been a very hard blow that we did not expect," Pique said.

"We have to get up. We play the league and cup and they are two very nice competitions we expect to win."

Barcelona are three points clear at the top of the La Liga table ahead of their tie against Valencia on Sunday.
