Everton boss Roberto Martinez has quashed rumours linking his top players with a move away from Goodison Park in the January transfer window, reports the Daily Star.
John Stones, Romelu Lukaku, James McCarthy and Ross Barkley have all been linked with other clubs in recent months, but the Toffees manager has warned off clubs across Europe who are interested in his players..
“I am not worried at all - our best players will not be leaving in January,” he said.
“We’re not in a position where we have to make financial decisions and our focus is on being as strong as we can together and keeping the continuity.
“We don’t look on it as a window to be really involved whether that’s buying or selling, it’s more a matter of continuity.”
