Fabregas: "Barcelona stage of my career is over."

Chelsea midfield star Cesc Fabregas says he won't be open to a return to Barcelona when he decides to return La Liga in the future.

Fabregas came up through the Barca academy and returned to the Camp Nou in 2011 for three campaigns after leaving north London side Arsenal.

However, when asked about a La Liga return in an interview with Marca, the Spaniard said: “Why not? Right now I am not thinking about it because I have a lot to settle at Chelsea after this season. I am not really thinking about anything else, but, in my opinion, the Spanish league is the strongest next to the English.

“A return to Barcelona would no longer be possible, even if I wanted to. The Barcelona stage of my career is over, it is closed.”
