Former Foxes striker hails Vardy.

Leicester City great Gary Lineker expressed his delight after Jamie Vardy decided to turn down a move to the Emirates and sign a new deal with the Foxes.

The Premier League champions offered their talisman an improved deal after Arsenal triggered his release clause, but the England striker has agreed to a new four-year deal - which he will sign after Euro 2016 - with the club.

However, former England striker Lineker praised Vardy for showing loyalty to Claudio Ranieri's side.

He tweeted: "A show of loyalty from @vardy7 and a show of ambition from @LCFC is to be applauded. Jamie to #remain"
