Former Villa striker backs David Moyes to be next Villa boss.

MCINALLY BACKS MOYES FOR VILLA JOB

Former Aston Villa striker Alan McInally has backed former Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes to be the next man to lead the Villains.

McInally reckons the current Real Sociedad coach would be the perfect successor for Tim Sherwood t Villa Park.

"I think David Moyes is a terrific manager," the Sky Sports football pundit said about the former Manchester United boss on Sky Sports News HQ, Skysports.com reported.

"I don't know if anyone could have done the job right [at United] after Sir Alex Ferguson. I think he would be a fantastic choice if they could prise him away.

"I thought Tim did a decent job at Spurs and was a good fit. He said all the right things but seeing the squad, I did think they might be in trouble."
