Jesus' second-half double [making it 13 goals in all competitions this season] helped the Citizens secure a 2-1 win against the Toffees.
Pep Guardiola heaped praise on Gabriel Jesus after the Brazilian scored a brace against Everton on Wednesday, and labelled Sergio Aguero as an "irreplaceable" player at Manchester City.
Jesus' second-half double [making it 13 goals in all competitions this season] helped the Citizens secure a 2-1 win against the Toffees, who pulled one back through Richarlison - at the Etihad.
"Gabriel has been excellent, but Sergio is irreplaceable," Guardiola said.
"What he means for our fans, what he's done, the goal against QPR [in 2012], we need a good back-up for all the players and Sergio has a great complimentary player in Gabriel.
"They have a great relationship."
